Masahiro Nakamura
葉「中村」政宏
Masahiro Nakamura is a lens-based artist, currently residing in Hong Kong. His work expresses a sensitivity to alienation and uncertainty, emerging from his mixed cultural and sexual identities and their issues. As he continues to explore media and cultures, new and old, he recontextualises newfound material and sensations, ultimately altering his perspectives of his identities and physical surroundings.
In 2021, Masahiro graduated from the Bachelor of Arts program by RMIT University, co-presented with Hong Kong Art School. In 2022, he presented his first solo exhibition, ‘Linger (A While)’ at Hidden Space, Hong Kong.
